Occupy Hong Kong protesters are being evicted this morning after 11 months. There is a heavy police presence around HSBC as bailiffs have moved in. The land under HSBC HQ is public but ‘privately managed’. “Some of the demonstrators have sought to enter HSBC’s offices and have been surrounded by security guards who pushed them back. At least 10 court-appointed bailiffs are on site.” (source). At least one Occupier has been arrested as police seal the surrounding roads.
