Hong Wrong is a mix of news, mildly serious observation & irreverent claptrap chronicling the good, bad and ugly under the Fragrant Harbour’s fading lights.
Hong Wrong attracts up to 330,000 English-speaking unique visitors and 450,000 pageviews per month. The site has a favourable Google-ranking and has been featured on Al-Jazeera, Huffington Post, the BBC and in local publications. Read a review here. Advertising opportunities coming soon.
Based in Hong Kong for 9 years, I am a British multimedia journalist and advocate. Since completing a BA in Communications & New Media, I have travelled to over 45 countries, reporting from destinations such as Iran, Cuba, Timor-Leste and Burma.
Recently, I left a career in education to commit to journalism full-time. By December 2015, I will have completed the Master of Journalism programme at Hong Kong University.
I run this site just for fun.
Please support the HK Helpers Campaign, which I co-founded.
My main blog is at tomgrundy.org.
If you are a teacher in Hong Kong, you may find Tom’s TEFL useful.
