Event: Scottish comedy hero Kevin Bridges returns to Hong Kong next month on world tour

Scotland’s biggest comedy export, Kevin Bridges, is bringing his global tour to Hong Kong next month.

Dubbed ‘brilliant’ by Billy Connolly, Kevin made his debut at The Edinburgh Playhouse on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow in 2009. Overnight success followed with Kevin selling out his run at the Edinburgh Festival in just one day! 

As well as having a strong hometown following, Kevin has taken his style of observational, cutting edge comedy all over the globe. He has performed throughout Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, USA and Canada along with tours of the Far East and Middle East. 

Event: British comedian Russell Howard to perform in Hong Kong in May

Russell Howard, one of the UK’s favourite comedians, will perform on May 27 at the Academic Community Hall, Hong Kong Baptist University.

He is currently on the road as part of his 2017 Round the World tour, which will have performances spanning 11 countries.

Event: Comedian Eddie Izzard to perform live in Hong Kong for the first time

Eddie Izzard will perform in Hong Kong for the first time on 23 February, 2017 at the Academy Community Hall, Hong Kong Baptist University.

He will bring his record-breaking live comedy show Force Majeure to the city.

Izzard has performed the show in over 30 countries throughout Europe, USA, Africa, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, India and Nepal.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, December 29 at 10am at hkticketing.com. Standard tickets (Booking fee not included): HK$988, HK$688, HK$788, HK$588, HK$488.

Event: Bill Bailey returns to Hong Kong with new show

Bill Bailey is returning to Hong Kong on December 14 with a new musical comedy show.

Larks in Transit is a compendium of travellers’ tales and the general shenanigans of twenty years as a travelling comedian.  With musical virtuosity, surreal tangents and trademark intelligence, he tackles politics, philosophy, the pursuit of happiness, death metal, ringtones… and an excruciating encounter with Paul McCartney.  Two decades of life as a comic filtered through what the Daily Telegraph calls ‘the brainiest comic of his generation’.

The show starts at 8pm at the Kitec Rotunda 3 in Kwun Tong.

Event: Comedian Jimmy Carr to perform live in Hong Kong, August 25th

Britain’s best-loved comedian and one of the biggest selling live acts in UK comedy, Jimmy Carr will perform in Hong Kong for the very first time with his brand new show, Funny Business, on Thursday August 25, 8 pm at KG Five.

Over 2 million people have now seen Jimmy perform live and his new tour has seen him play over 200 dates across 4 continents. 


Event: Udderbelly Festival continues through Chinese New Year

Udderbelly Festival is continuing over Chinese New Year inside a giant upside down purple cow pop-up theatre on the harbourfront.

The theatre will host a range of acts, including 2009 Britain’s Got Talent finalist Flawless. Also performing are PIFF the Magic Dragon, stars of the Edinburgh Fringe, and many others.

There are events for all age groups.

Event: Comedy drag circus show ‘BRIEFS’ scandalises HK at UdderBelly Festival

Following sell-out runs in London and Edinburgh, the BRIEFS boys have arrived in Hong Kong.
